Minter’s work incorporates vibrant color combinations with sky-tone gradients that weave between graphic shapes and fluid splashes. Combining abstraction with surreal figuration, he searches to capture the emotion of an experience, perhaps once had or dreamt. His technique, both premeditated and unplanned, channels him to find and explore the pleasures and ironies in the mutable and plastic nature of existence.
