Jennifer L. Mohr Artist Biography

Jennifer L Mohr is an acrylic and mixed media painter living and creating in the Treaty 7 area of Alberta, Canada. She began exploring visual arts in early childhood, later earning her B.F.A. in painting at the University of Saskatchewan in 2003. Jennifer’s current ongoing series of works entitled, “Belonging To The Land”, explores her feelings of place-identity connection with the prairie grasslands. In a riot of color and expressive mark-making, Jennifer’s paintings place the viewer within the landscape, allowing them to experience the beauty and complexity of belonging within nature.
