themselves sent Kristin on different paths. She spent a year at the Faroe Islands where she collected experiences and memories, taught and worked on her own art before moving back to Norway to work as an Art Director in an advertising agency, she enjoyed this work for many years and won a prize for her poster design in a national competition. In 1993, Kristin was ready to try a new path, she moved to England where she took her diploma in Art and Art Therapy at Tobias School of Art. Back in Norway, Kristin worked as an Art Therapist mainly with children and young adults. Three years ago, Kristin decided to follow her heart and passion and pursue her career as a painter. Over the last years, Kristin has exhibited her artwork in England, Italy, Switzerland and Norway, and participated in several online exhibitions during the covid pandemic. Connecting with galleries, collectors, and curators has given her many opportunities, she has received an award of excellence for her artwork and won the award Collector’s Vision in 2021. Kristin’s artworks have been exhibited and sold to collectors both nationally and internationally. Kristin happily connects with the world from her small garden studio, where you will find her creating art with her favorite handmade soft pastels, staying close to her inspiring landscapes.
Color has fascinated and kindled Kristin’s imagination her whole life and has been the main ingredient in her work throughout her years. She likes to weave colors into color poetry and memories to lyrical landscapes.
