"This painting was made with earth tones because I wanted to portray calmness and peace during a much-needed time - at the height of the pandemic. This scene from nature alludes to the need to make peace with oneself. Last year forced many of us to stay isolated for several months. In my case, that meant having long periods of introspection. This piece explores my relationship with myself."
