"Often I find that the landscapes surrounding us offer metaphors for our lives. My work explores how our environments become part of us as we move metaphorically and physically through our surroundings. No path is ever straight. No journey is ever without others. Often we encounter twists and turns, like those of a river, or experience the bumps of a gravel road, but through it all, we form relationships and harness memories. My impressionist acrylic paintings use landscapes to celebrate our paths, recall our memories and acknowledge our relationships. On every journey: We create stories. We form bonds. We share connections. We live."
