"I’m Not Here to Please Everyone was a response and a reminder to me and anyone who needs it that it’s not only impossible to please everyone but also not a need of our lives! When we have the courage to follow our dreams and advocate for ourselves, we will eventually encounter some discouragers along the way. This piece is also a reminder that regardless of what you’re doing there are always going to be people judging you – so why not choose to put yourself and your needs first? At the end of the day there’s not a universal truth or a correct way of doing things/living. May kindness persist and may you not take things too much personally too! Your uniqueness is too important to be pushed away just because some people won’t get it."
