Acrylic, crocheted thread, and fabric on panel

"This is an original painting, 5" x 7" acrylic, crocheted thread and fabric on 3/4" deep wooden panel. The sides of the panel are finished with clear wax, and the back of the piece is wired so that the piece may be hung without a frame.

This little series of Cloud Portraits features lacy clouds that I crochet by hand, inspired by the sky from my back window. I incorporate the mixed media elements into a slightly more representational style of work than my usual abstract depictions."
